entertainment...
"Entertainment is the means by which one may fast-forward through life and still enjoy it."
This quote popped into my head after I finished watching a dvd titled "Atlantis" (a silent documentary on life underwater). Really, why do people crave after one form of entertainment or another? Were we 'programmed' that way? Some people practice lots of it, whereas others think of entertainment as another sinful form of 'self indulgence'. While I will not even as much as begin to answer this question, the quote itself rang very true.. at least in my own life.
